The senior class is sponsoring a Talent Show. It is open to all current Welch Public School students. If you are interested in participating you need to contact Mrs. Orler by Friday, February 9, 2024. Her email is dorler@welchwildcats.net
The Talent Show will be on February 16, 2024, at 6pm in the Civic Center.
Welch HS Basketball teams travel to Wesleyan Christian for Class B District playoffs this Thursday girls 6pm, Friday boys 6pm and Saturday Championship Cash price at the door is $10 and GoFan app price is $8.35
The HS basketball game tomorrow evening is canceled due to Watts not having enough players.
Reminder No School for Welch Public Schools tomorrow Monday, Feb 5...it's Professional Development Day for staff.

Welch Public Schools will be Distance Learning/Virtual Day tomorrow, Monday, Jan 22 due to inclement weather and icy road conditions.
Senior Night has been rescheduled for January 30th at 5:15 pm and Homecoming will be February 2nd at 5:15 pm.

We are excited to announce that we have the opportunity to work with Cherokee Nation on the Summer Nutrition EBT program. Households that receive direct certification for Free/Reduced meals will have the opportunity to participate with USDA Summer Nutrition Program operated by Cherokee Nation Public Health. As a school district we will be helping with student data verification and share this with the Cherokee Nation agency. If you refuse, it will not affect any government assistance that you or your child may be currently receiving. If you have questions regarding the project, please contact Cherokee Nation at 918-453-5257 or 918-453-5572.
If you wish to OPT OUT then fill out this form and return it to your child's Principal's office or stop by their office and fill out the OPT OUT form.
There will be no school for Welch Public Schools, Wednesday January 17th. This will be a snow/inclement weather day.
Wednesday January 17th's Elementary and Junior High basketball games at Fairland are postponed. They will be rescheduled in a future date.
The basketball games with Wyandotte on Tuesday January 16th have been canceled. The high school game will be rescheduled on a future date.
