Our 6th graders wrapped up our cell unit in the most creative way! 🧬✨ Students built their own plant cell models. They made sure to include all the important organelles we’ve been studying. To celebrate the end of our unit, we took “cellfies” (selfies) with their creations. 📸 After putting that much effort into a project, it definitely deserves a photo shoot!

The blood drive has been moved to the HS Gym foyer today.

Thank you to the Enrichment Foundation and the Welch Public School Board members and administrators for the opportunity to attend the Stars & STEM program at NASA in Houston, Texas.
The students greatly enjoyed the enrichment activities, including the challenge of escape boxes, where they unraveled codes using critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Students also built rockets to launch as well as turning robots into transporters to use on a planet for collecting samples to be studied. This was truly a great opportunity for the students.
