High School Football and Senior Night Tonight!

Last week, students participated in Red Ribbon Week. The theme was "Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free." Monday was "We Fit Together - Twin Day. Tuesday was All the Pieces Fit When We Work Together - Class Colors day. Wednesday was I'm Puzzled; Are You? - Crazy Hair Day. Thursday was Every Day is a Jigsaw Puzzle - Mismatched Socks Day. Friday was Spooktacular Choices, Drug Free Voices - Wear Your Costume.

Welch speech and debate team brought home 7 medals and a trophy on Saturday. Adalyn McCord and Kacelyn Pogue placed 2nd in public forum debate and qualify for regionals. Adalyn also placed 1st in Informative and qualified for regionals. Gracelynn Darby and Alexandra Edens placed 3rd in public forum debate. Gracelynn also placed 2nd in Prose and qualifies for regionals. Naomi Collins placed 3rd in Poetry and together the team brought home the second place sweepstakes trophy for 3A.

Cherokee Nation Gadugi Cops Community Leadership Fund - Cherokee Nation students 10-17 and Cherokee Nation citizens 18-61 can volunteer on the Cherokee Nation Reservation, helping their fellow Cherokees and their communities and receive $200.
