Coach Mitchell is an educator and softball coach with experience at both elementary and high school levels. She has worked as a 4th grade paraprofessional and high school teacher, building strong relationships with students and fostering growth in and out of the classroom. With a passion for softball, she focuses on fundamentals, confidence, and teamwork while creating a positive and competitive environment for her athletes. Coach Dunlap brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our athletic programs, with an impressive background coaching both softball and baseball at multiple levels. Throughout his career, he has led successful programs at Butner, Locust Grove, Okemah, Tulsa Edison, Okmulgee, and Woodward.
Known for developing athletes and building competitive teams, Coach Dunlap is committed to fostering growth, discipline, and success both on and off the field.

Today we dove into the history of the Boston Tea Party and brought it to life by enjoying tea, English muffins, and fruit pies while we learned about what happened.
Then we switched gears into science and became problem-solvers! Students took on the challenge of designing and building crates to keep tea safe from the harbor—with only a limited set of supplies. The creativity and teamwork were amazing to watch!
We had such a fun day filled with learning, building, and a little bit of history brought to life!

🔎Our 5th graders stepped into the role of FBI agents and took on an exciting investigation into the events of the Boston Massacre! Using both primary and secondary sources, they carefully examined the evidence, asked critical questions, and worked to separate fact from exaggeration. It was an engaging, hands-on way to bring history to life while building strong research and critical thinking skills!
